A Grandfather to My Grandchildren

 Once long ago, I was told that I needed to keep looking for the right man to marry and promised that I would find a grandfather for my grandchildren.

And what a wonderful man he is too!!!

Luke has so much fun with our girls!

My Own Young Mothers!

Luke and I now have 3 wonderful daughters who are (or will be this year) mothers, and we could not be more happy than we are to watch them with their children!

They are all such wonderful women and mothers!

Hank Smith said it well: Being a mother is the most important work on this earth. What society glamorizes is likely on the periphery of the Lord's radar. I'm convinced His primary attention is what is going on in the nursery, in the family room, and around the dinner table. While we cheer on athletes, musicians, and television stars, the Lord probably barely notices. He is busy encouraging and inspiring mothers.

I am blessed to have these young mothers in my life, and I am so very blessed to be a mother!!!

Parents who Love me!

I am blessed to know that my parents love me and that they have always loved me and will always love me!

Surrounded by Love

Life can seem so very challenging! There is always something going on- snow to shovel or yard work, food to cook or dishes to clean, clothes to wash or to fold and put away, lessons to plan or papers to grade.... and of course, the list is never-ending! I am always surrounded by responsibilities!

It's so good for me to remember that I am also always surrounded by love!

This is the AMAZING gift my sister made for me! A great reminder of her love!

And I left the holidays up on my door until March this year. What a great reminder of the people who love and care for me and for my family!

This is a beautiful gift from a co-worker- just because she cares! How lucky am I, right?!

And of course, one of the many ways Luke shows his love for me every day!

I am truly blessed to be surrounded by love!!!

Blessed with BEST Boys-in-Law

This month I am so very grateful for Luke and finally learning with someone what a wonderful marriage can be...

It helps me to be doubly grateful for the BEST boys for my/our girls:

They are all hardworking and set goals to improve their families!

They all know how to have fun and enjoy life!

And they all care deeply for their wife (our daughters) and the Lord!

I am so blessed to have these men as my boys-in-law!
