Why this blog...

I am the mother of the three most talented, intelligent and beautiful children ever to live on this earth. I am also privileged to be married to the most wonderful man! He has added three additional talented, intelligent and beautiful children to our family! I have a job that I mostly love, a wonderful education, a beautiful home, marvelous family, and I have the privilege of belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been greatly blessed in my life, but I sometimes forget that. So, I decided to create this blog as a way to remind myself of all the many blessings and miracles that surround me. (I'm also terrible at keeping a journal- so this will be something for my kids to enjoy as well.)

I hope you enjoy what you read. I would love to hear what you think!

Farewell to Hyrum

Hyrum has been a fun part of our lives for the past decade +. My cousin, Michelle, really a life-long best friend/ older sister, has lived in Hyrum for a long time now, and her home has a perpetual open-door policy, of which we have benefited greatly!

As Michelle prepares to finalize the sell of her house and move, to perhaps, the Salt Lake Valley, we were able to spend a couple of peaceful days as her guests once again. And Antoine was there too! (A French foreign exchange student who is most delightful!)

A wedding shower, making soap, cleaning apricots, giving Antoine English pronunciation lessons (love you, Jon, but you are NOT the one for this task!), Hyrum beach, Zumba, and green smoothies- all great fun and fond memories! But the best part, as with every visit, was the time for conversation, talking with and listening to one of my very most favorite people, Michelle!

I am so grateful to be blessed with my cousin as my friend!!
